Gene Sutch has extensive work experience in various roles within the United States Postal Service (USPS). Starting in 1982, they held positions such as Delivery Supervisor/Analyst, Operations and Engineering Positions, and Manager of a Processing and Distribution Facility. In these roles, they managed operations, customer service, and engineering, including overseeing major mail processing facilities and automated mail processing equipment. Gene also played a role in labor negotiations and prepared financial analysis for investment proposals. From 2002 to 2015, Sutch worked as a Manager in Capital Investments and Business Analysis at the USPS, where they managed national policies, including budgeting and evaluation of capital investments. In 2009, they became the Manager of Finance Infrastructure and later moved on to becoming the Director of Operations Planning and Strategies. Gene retired from the USPS in 2015 and subsequently joined the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority as the Director of Revenue Strategy and Analysis. Additionally, Sutch worked as an Adjunct Professor at Syracuse University from 2006 to 2013.
Gene Sutch attended Kean University from 1973 to 1975 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. Later, from 1997 to 1999, they attended the University of Phoenix and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Management.
