Laurie Carrigan

Laurie Carrigan is an experienced Employee Development Specialist at the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority since October 2015, focusing on learning and content management across all departments. With a diverse background in training and development, Laurie previously served as a Training Coordinator at Didlake, Inc., where customized training programs were developed for a geographically dispersed workforce. Experience includes roles as an Independent Contractor with Front Row Performance Coaching, a Trainer for the Training Futures Program at Northern Virginia Family Service, and a Program Assistant at the United States Institute of Peace, managing training logistics. As a former Peace Corps Volunteer, Laurie demonstrated maturity and self-reliance through extensive in-country training. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Training and Human Performance Improvement at Capella University, Laurie also holds post-graduate credits in Counseling and Development from George Mason University and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Anthropology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
