Rachel Beyerle

Rachel Beyerle serves as the Transportation Communications Manager at the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments since January 2022. Prior to this role, Rachel held the position of Senior Program Manager at the National Association of Development Organizations from September 2019 to January 2022, and was the Communications Director for the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center at Easterseals from July 2008 to September 2019. Additional experience includes serving as the Multi-State Technical Assistance Program Coordinator at AASHTO, Associate Planner for the City of Janesville, Wisconsin, Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky, and Planner at the Kentuckiana Regional Planning & Development Agency. Rachel holds a Master of Arts in Contemporary Communication from Notre Dame of Maryland University, a Master of Arts in Geography - Transportation from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Science in Geography - Urban Analysis from the University of Louisville.
