Ruben Cruz

Ruben Cruz, Esq., CPCM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ruben is currently the Director of Contracts & Procurement at MetroStar, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, Ruben served as the Principal Attorney at Ruben Cruz Law starting in August 2015. Ruben also worked at the Army Artificial Intelligence Integration Center (AI2C) as the Director of Finance & Business Operations from June 2019 to June 2022, where they were involved with the U.S. Army Futures Command. Before that, Ruben held the role of IT Business Portfolio Manager at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from May 2015 to June 2019. Ruben gained experience as a Senior Contracting & Grants Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2009 to 2015. Ruben's career began in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Captain and Contracting & Grants Officer from 2001 to 2007. Ruben also worked as an International Business & Procurement Advisor at the U.S. Department of Labor from 2007 to 2009.

Ruben Cruz, Esq., CPCM, holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Civil Litigation from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. Ruben also obtained an MBA in Finance from the University of Dayton. In October 2015, Ruben became a member of the Pennsylvania Bar after being admitted by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) from the NCMA and as a DAWIA Level III Contracting professional from the United States Department of Defense.
