Hillary Husband, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics modeling, research, and analysis. Currently, they are working as a PK/PD Modeling and Simulation Research Scientist at Metrum Research Group, where they are involved in conducting research and analysis related to PK/PD modeling and simulation.

Prior to their current role, Hillary worked as a PK/PD Modeling and Simulation Research Associate at the same company. Before joining Metrum Research Group, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana Tech University, where they focused on developing a generalizable framework for implementing a physiology-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) model in therapeutic drug monitoring.

Hillary also had an internship experience at Merck, where they worked as a Quantitative Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics (QP2) Intern. During this time, they adapted the piraid package in R for modeling neurodegenerative diseases and developed templates for data analysis and diagnostic plots.

In addition, Hillary worked as a Predoctoral Research Intern at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where they developed a population pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic model to characterize tumor growth kinetics for high-grade glioma. Hillary also created a survival model using bioluminescence as a surrogate for tumor volume measurements.

Earlier in their career, Hillary held positions as a Laboratory Assistant at Louisiana College, where they were responsible for preparing solutions and setting up instruments for chemistry experiments, and as an Undergraduate Research Student at the University of Notre Dame, where they conducted projects on bonding in organometallic molecules and charge distribution in surface-bound compounds.

Furthermore, Hillary worked as a Chemistry Tutor at Louisiana College, where they provided tutoring services to students.

Afterward, they enrolled at Louisiana Tech University and pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mathematics from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, they simultaneously pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Engineering, specializing in Molecular Science and Nanotechnology, from 2016 to 2021 at the same institution.
