Johanna Ahokas

Johanna Ahokas has extensive experience in various HR roles. Johanna began their career at Patria in 2000, where they worked as a Human Resources Development Manager. In this role, they managed competence development and HR generalist tasks.

Johanna then moved to ALSTOM in 2008, initially working as an HR Business Partner before becoming a Country HR Director. At ALSTOM, they supported the organization with HR strategies and initiatives.

In 2015, Ahokas joined GE Grid Solutions as a Senior HR Lead, where they contributed to HR operations and management.

In 2017, they joined Metso as an HR Lead and HR Business Partner. Johanna was responsible for leading HR operations and providing HR support to the Nordics Market Area Sales and Services leadership team. Johanna then became the Director of Talent and Engagement, where they managed global senior leadership development programs and engagement surveys.

Johanna continued their career at Metso Outotec, starting in 2020 as the VP of HR for Global Corporate Functions. In this role, they supported CFO's Office, Legal, and HR functions, focusing on people development, talent and succession planning, recruitments, and leadership challenges. Johanna also acted as a project manager for the development of a performance culture.

In 2023, Ahokas joined Metso as a VR HR for Global Corporate Functions. Further details are not provided.

Johanna Ahokas attended the University of Tampere from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, specializing in General Management.
