Marko Lahtinen

Marko Lahtinen has extensive work experience in the field of hydrometallurgy and zinc technology. Marko has been with Metso as a Sales Director since 2023 and previously held the same position at Metso Outotec starting from 2020. Before that, they worked at Outotec (Finland) Oy as a Senior Sales Manager for zinc technology from 2014 to 2020, and as a Sales Manager from 2006 to 2014. Prior to Outotec, they worked at Outokumpu Research Oy as a Development Manager and Research Metallurgist from 2001 to 2006. Marko also worked as a Research Assistant at Kemira Agro Oy from 1998 to 2001, and as a Scientist at Lappeenranta University of Technology, LUT from 1997 to 1998.

Marko Lahtinen obtained their Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from LUT University between the years 1991 and 1997.
