Niklas Valtonen

Niklas Valtonen has a diverse work experience spanning over a number of companies and roles. Niklas is currently working at Metso Outotec as the Head of Finance Development in the Group Finance department, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Controller in the same company's Group Finance department, specifically in Management Reporting, from August 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Metso Outotec, Valtonen worked at Outotec as a Business Line Controller for the Minerals Processing, Grinding & Flotation Business Lines from October 2019 to July 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Group Business Controller at Arctia Ltd from March 2019 to October 2019.

Valtonen also has experience working at Bilot as a Senior Consultant, specializing in SAP BI consulting and handling 3 clients, from April 2014 to April 2015. Niklas'searly career was at Cesim, where they worked for 7 years and participated in over 20 projects focused on building custom simulation games and conducting simulation-based trainings for middle and upper management. During their tenure at Cesim from October 2000 to October 2007, Valtonen developed extensive expertise in Excel and VBA.

Niklas Valtonen earned an M.sc. (tech) in Quality Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan between 1996 and 2002. Niklas also obtained additional certifications in R Programming from Coursera, SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP HANA from SAP, and Salesforce.com Certified Administrator from Salesforce.com.
