Jodok Weixler

Jodok Weixler serves as a Global Product Manager at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc since June 2023 and has held the position of Scientific Assistant at ETH Zürich since October 2018, focusing on ultra short-pulsed laser processing of ceramics, process characterization, development, and predictive modeling. Prior experience includes a role as Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at inspire AG, where Jodok worked on ultra short-pulsed laser processing of vitrified PCD and CBN grinding wheels, and as Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft at Fraunhofer IWS Dresden, concentrating on laser structuring of fiber-reinforced composites and laser welding of thermoplastic prepregs. Jodok also gained early experience as a Praktikant at Auto-Kabel from 2011 to 2014. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).
