Jocelyn Salala has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Jocelyn started their career as an intern for the Dan Maffei for Congress Campaign in 2012. Jocelyn then worked as a Copy and Print Center Sales Associate at Staples from 2013 to 2014, where they excelled in customer service and contributed to increasing sales.

In 2013, Jocelyn interned at Mount Vernon City Hall, where they assisted the Youth Employment Coordinator with summer employment procedures, motivating local youth to seek job opportunities.

From 2015 to 2017, Jocelyn worked at Kinetics Sports Club as a Swim Instructor, providing water safety instruction and teaching swim lessons. Jocelyn was also responsible for maintaining the pool and surrounding deck areas.

In 2015, Jocelyn worked as an Administrative Assistant at the City of Mount Vernon Youth Bureau, where they served as the main liaison between the bureau and participants. Jocelyn also drafted department newsletters to increase youth participation in programs.

Jocelyn joined The Shade Store in 2016 and held multiple roles. As a Customer Care Specialist, they resolved post-sale issues and established strong service relationships. Jocelyn then became a Customer Care Manager, where they evaluated trends and recommended improvements. Jocelyn later became a Customer Relationship Manager Team Lead, leading a team and optimizing CRM tools for growth.

Jocelyn joined MeWe in 2019 as a Customer Success Manager, where they implemented Zendesk to improve customer experience. Jocelyn later became the Director of Customer Success & Growth, leading and mentoring teams and ensuring user engagement, success, retention, and growth.

Throughout their career, Jocelyn has demonstrated their ability to build successful customer relationships, resolve issues, and contribute to company growth.

Jocelyn Salala obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2009 to 2015. Prior to their university education, they earned a High School Diploma in High School Education from the School of the Holy Child, completing their high school education from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, Jocelyn holds certifications in CRP, AED, Lifeguard, and Waterfront from the Red Cross, although the specific date of when they obtained these certifications is not provided.
