Valerie Vargas

Valerie Vargas is currently working as a Clinical School Therapist Intern at Downey Unified School District and as a Teacher II at Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF). Prior to this, Valerie worked as a Case Manager at Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County, a Teacher Assistant at Felton Institute, and volunteered at Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY). Valerie also completed internships at San Francisco Unified School District and Jumpstart. Valerie holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from California State University-Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Child Development from San Francisco State University.
