Pirkka Mattila

Pirkka Mattila has extensive experience in audio and entertainment technology, currently serving as System Responsible for AV/Entertainment Technology at Meyer Turku since May 2018, overseeing sound, light, broadcasting, and rigging in entertainment areas. Prior to this role, Pirkka worked at Microsoft from 2014 to February 2017 as Lead Audio Designer and Senior Engineer in Audio Integration, where responsibilities included supporting the audio integration of various phone-like devices and enhancing product quality. Before joining Microsoft, Pirkka spent 13 years at Nokia in roles ranging from Design Engineer to Senior Specialist, culminating in the acquisition of Nokia's phone business by Microsoft. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Turku University of Applied Sciences and vocational training in Business and Administration from Turku Commercial College.
