Victor Hsuih

Victor Hsuih has a strong background in Linux and Unix systems engineering, with experience spanning over two decades. Victor started their career as a Systems Administrator at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in 1997, where they demonstrated their knowledge of various platforms and provided end-user support. Victor then joined Convergex in 2003 as a Senior Unix Systems Engineer, working closely with the development team to update monitoring plugins and develop self-healing solutions. At Cowen Inc., starting in 2017, Victor worked as a Senior Unix Systems Engineer, and successfully migrated large amounts of market data to a virtual S3 bucket in AWS using customized coding and DevOps tools. Currently, Victor holds the role of Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer at Mezocliq LLC, where they design and builds infrastructure systems for SAAS software deployment and manages highly scalable Kubernetes clusters.

Victor Hsuih holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and two Bachelor's degrees, one in Computer Science and the other in Mechanical Engineering, all of which were obtained from Penn State University. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications, including AWS Certified Database - Specialty, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Associate Cloud Engineer, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate. These certifications were earned from institutions such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), HashiCorp, Google Career Certificates, and Microsoft, between the years 2021 and 2023.
