Job description

The Unmanned Technical Support Specialist maintains and conducts testing of all unmanned systems. In this role,
you will be responsible for maintaining, trouble shooting, repairing SUAS & UGRV equipment to ensure systems
are operating as intended. Your technical expertise, knowledge of unmanned systems, and attention to detail will
play a critical role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our operations. The ideal candidate should possess
strong analytical skills, be proficient with electronics, possess the skills needed to illustrate & teach the proper
handling & usage of equipment, and have a solid understanding of procedures specific to the industries we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Assists with Internal & Customers with RMA's for repairs.
• Perform repairs, and maintenance on unmanned equipment & accessories.
• Follow standard operating procedures and manufacturers' guidelines for repairs.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all repair activities, including test results, adjustments, and parts used.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Perform inventory control of inbound & outbound unmanned equipment & accessory items related to sales activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly organized, calibrated, and in good working condition.
• Be capable of monitoring all direct internal communication channels (Email, Text, Slack)
• Be capable of structuring your work calendar to ensure tasks, both individual & group based, are completed by goal dates.
• Assists with and/or displays capability to conduct Unmanned Systems field Proof of Concepts (POC), with the potential for work travel.
• Facilitates the setup during company trade shows with the potential for work travel.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Training
• Display a professional understanding of the materials being taught.
• Develop a schedule for the training day while utilizing supplied materials from the manufacturer to give a thorough understanding of the subject materials.
• Conduct training classes for unmanned systems & related 3rd party accessories/components.
• Capability of showing patience while working with new & inexperienced persons & maintaining a positive reinforcement attitude while issuing constructive criticism.

Qualifications & Company Core Values:
• High School Diploma
• 21+ years of age
• Technical History, including repairs & diagnostics.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding work goals.
• Strong understanding of the unmanned systems market, including industry trends, regulations, and key players.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with computers, varying computer software & hardware.
• Existing general knowledge of sUAS & UGRV products & applications.
• Supervisory experience
