Daniel Cousins

Daniel Cousins joined MFS Africa as a Senior Treasury Analyst. Daniel’s journey began in London with Standard Chartered bank in an operational role before moving to Currencies Direct, a fast-paced FX broker serving SME’s and private clients. During his time at Currencies Direct he wore a number of different hats, most notably Treasury and FX execution / hedging, and while there he contributed to developing new products to assist clients with their risk management. During his tenure with Currencies Direct, Daniel was given the opportunity to study with the Association of Corporate Treasurers and he successfully passed the last unit in October 2020. Thereafter he joined Crown Agents Bank with a focus on cash management, Treasury and many automation projects.
