Omar Hashem

Omar Hashem, CFA, has extensive experience in equity research, currently serving as an Equity Research Analyst and previously as a Senior Equity Research Associate and Equity Research Associate at MFS Investment Management since September 2017. Omar's professional journey includes a summer role in the Leadership Development Program at Restaurant Brands International for Tim Hortons, as well as a position in Institutional Equity Trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Early career experience includes serving as a Production Manager at Block94 and holding research analyst roles in the MAC Investment Club focused on the Consumer & Healthcare Sector and Energy & Utilities Group. Omar holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from McMaster University, earned between 2012 and 2017.
