Sanjay Balu

Sanjay Balu is an experienced technology executive currently serving as VP and Senior Director of Enterprise Application Architecture, Project Operations, Analytics, and Strategic Partner Management at MFS Investment Management since December 2015. In this role, Sanjay leads the firm’s Enterprise Architecture and Strategy team while managing Strategic Partner Management and Project Operations & Analytics. Prior to MFS, Sanjay spent over a decade at Avery Dennison in various leadership roles, including Global Solutions Director, responsible for E-commerce Solutions, and Director of Global Automation, where contributions led to a significant increase in automated orders and cost savings. Sanjay began a career at Sapient, focusing on program management and technical implementation. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from MIT Sloan School of Management and additional studies at the New York Institute of Technology, supplemented by executive training at The Partnership, Inc.
