David Carter

David Carter has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. David is currently serving as the Director of Gas Trading & Partner at MFT Energy since July 2020. Prior to that, they were on garden leave at Garden from July 2019 to July 2020. David has also worked at Danske Commodities, where they held various roles including Director, Head of Gas Trading & Operations, Manager, Head of Gas Trading & Operations, Senior Gas Trader, Gas Trader, and Gas Shift Trader. David worked at Danske Commodities from May 2014 to July 2019. Before that, they worked as a Commercial Analyst at EDF Energy from October 2012 to May 2014. Early in their career, they served as a Gas Trader / Commercial Technician at px group / energy24 and as a Financial Assistant at px group / energy24. Additionally, they worked as an Assessment Roleplayer at Rivington Associates.

David Carter completed their A Levels in Mathematics and Statistics, Physical Education, Film Studies, and ICT at Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting and Finance at Newcastle University from 2007 to 2010.
