Yu Koyanagi

Yu Koyanagi is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as a Japan Power Trader at MFT Energy since March 2023. Prior to this role, Yu held the position of General Manager at Marubeni Power Retail Corporation, focusing on power trading from August 2021 to February 2023. Additional experience includes asset trading at F-Power Inc. in 2021 and brokerage at Net Energy Inc. from January 2018 to February 2021. From November 2008 to December 2017, Yu was the Director of GINGA ENERGY JAPAN, and previously served as Representative Director at JAPAN OTC EXCHANGE 株式会社 from November 2013 to March 2017. Earlier experience also includes a sales role at Mitsubishi Corporation Futures between April 2005 and October 2008. Yu Koyanagi earned a degree from Hosei University, completing studies from 2001 to 2005.
