Ian Towey

Ian Towey, CFA, CAIA, is an experienced financial professional specializing in operational due diligence and compliance. Currently serving as an Operational Due Diligence Senior Associate at M&G Investments since June 2019, Ian conducts ODD reviews for various alternative investments, including hedge funds and private equity. Prior experience includes a role as Compliance Manager at Neuberger Berman, where Ian developed the compliance monitoring program for EMEA offices. As an Investment Oversight Senior Manager at Fund Partners Limited, Ian oversaw appointed Investment Managers and managed regulatory oversight for over 100 investment funds. Ian's career began at International Financial Data Services, where responsibilities included supervisory roles and settlements. Ian holds a BA (Hons) in Computer Animation from the University of Portsmouth.
