William Gale

William Gale serves as the Sales Director for North America at AKWEL since July 2017 and has been with Avon Automotive since July 2004, progressing through various roles including Sales Manager and Program Manager. In the capacity of Sales Manager, William is responsible for all commercial discussions with General Motors, focusing on advanced sales strategies and leading quoting activities while managing contracts and Accounts Receivable items. William has negotiated significant material increases, including an EPDM material increase in 2012, and has played a crucial role in high-stakes price negotiations. Additionally, William orchestrated the development of the coolant system for the Chevy Volt, overseeing a portfolio worth over $50 million across 300 part numbers. In earlier roles, William led engineering and purchasing teams to launch product production, ensuring timely execution of specifications and engineering changes. William holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University, completed in 2006, and studied at Ferris State University from 2001 to 2003.
