Gareth Bevan is the Chief Commercial Officer at ENGINE, a previous Programmer at Intelligent Gaming from August 2015 to November 2017, and a Junior Software Developer at WEST COAST SOFTWARE LTD from June 2014 to May 2015.

Gareth has had various responsibilities during their time at West Coast Software, including developing games using the Unity engine, programming game scripts using C#, designing and developing a racing game, writing racing game AI to compete with the player, developing vehicle physics using Unity, developing a 3D model of Aberystwyth using real world data to use in a flood simulator, creating multiple game pitches/ideas spanning various genres including puzzle games and management simulators, meeting clients to discuss functional requirements of systems, and setting up and deploying development kits for various platforms including PC, Xbox One, Wii U, Android and iOS.

Gareth also produced a Game Design document and developed prototypes while at West Coast Software. These prototypes were selected to be further developed with the Unity engine being chosen as the engine of choice for the development. Throughout the development process, Gareth worked on implementing AI for the enemy competitors as well as working with Unity physics to make the driving feel fun and fulfilling. Gareth also designed a level from start to finish and implemented it into Unity. The game was written in the C# programming language.

In addition to their work at West Coast Software, Gareth also worked with Aberystwyth University to develop a flood prediction model of
