Ashley Urena Lmsw

Ashley Urena, LMSW, is an experienced therapist and assistant site coordinator currently employed at Mental Health Providers of Western Queens, Inc. since October 2020, following a tenure as a social work intern at the same organization from September 2019 to June 2020. Prior to these roles, Ashley served as a school counselor during a BSW field placement with Community Revitalization Partnership, where valuable skills in initiative, hard work, and kindness were developed while counseling a child experiencing emotional challenges. Additional experience includes an internship at Hour Children, Inc., focused on assisting formerly incarcerated women in obtaining employment and education. Ashley holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Hunter College.
