Alex Nicholas

Alex Nicholas has a diverse range of work experience in the operations and logistics field. Alex is currently serving as the Vice President of Operations at MHX LLC, a logistics company in California. In this role, they manage the inventory and movement of high-value materials through various modes of transportation.

Prior to this, Alex held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Petrós Energy Products, Inc. from 2014 to 2020. Alex was responsible for strategic growth and business oversight of the company, as well as its supporting businesses in the pipe, valve, fitting, and structural steel solutions industry.

From 2011 to 2017, Alex was the Co-Founder and COO of Supply Chain Management, LLC. Their expertise in rail served trans-load facilities was utilized in industries such as oil, natural gas, steel, and building materials.

Before that, Alex was the VP of Operations at Budway Enterprises from 2010 to 2011. Their responsibilities included modal-to-modal inventory management and delivery services for various commodities entering Southern California.

Alex also gained valuable experience at Fender Musical Instruments as the Director of Manufacturing Operations for the Custom Shops division. During their tenure from 2003 to 2009, they successfully facilitated and supported significant revenue growth, including the acquisition and integration of iconic guitar brands.

Earlier in their career, Alex served as the Plant Manager at Westwood Industries and oversaw daily operations for a re-manufacturing facility. Alex also led the startup and continued operations of a new lumber drying and surfacing facility.

Additionally, Alex worked as a Production Manager at Professional Audio Concepts and as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Fender Musical Instruments.

Alex Nicholas obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, which they attended from 1992 to 1994. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the USC Marshall School of Business from 2007 to 2009, specializing in Business.
