Matt Pierce

Matt Pierce has extensive experience in the field of IT. Matt began their career in 2008 as an IT Support Specialist at Brainware Inc, where they managed and maintained IT infrastructure for offices in the US and Europe. Matt configured VPN tunnels, network services, and routing configurations. In 2012, they joined AtSite Inc as a Senior Associate and provided desktop support while also installing and configuring IT infrastructure using Amazon AWS. Matt also installed and configured SharePoint Server 2013. In 2014, they joined Mi9 Retail as a Senior Manager in IT, and later became the IT Director. Currently, they serve as the Chief Information Security Officer at Mi9 Retail.

Matt Pierce completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University in the year 2016. Prior to that, they received their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology - Security from the same institution between 2012 and 2014. Alongside their formal education, Matt also obtained additional certifications, including the Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator v8 from EC-Council in February 2016 and the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from the same institution in August 2015.
