Johann Partridge

Johann Partridge is an experienced professional in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Operations Director at MiAlgae since November 2020, where the focus is on producing sustainable omega-3 from food waste. Johann has held pivotal roles such as Head of Operations and Operations Director at the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre, contributing to the growth of the industrial biotechnology sector in Scotland. Additionally, Johann is a Skills Advisory Board Member for IBioIC and an External Advisory Board Member for the Future Biomanufacturing Research Hub, which promotes innovative biomanufacturing practices across various industries. Previous experience includes strategic advisory roles with IndiNature and committee membership at the Scottish Association for Marine Science. Johann holds a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Strathclyde and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Dundee.
