Darren Caprara

Darren Caprara is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business management and operations across various sectors. Currently serving as the Business Relationship Manager for the Information Technology Department in Miami-Dade County since January 2016, Darren acts as an IT business advisor for multiple departments, ensuring quality service delivery. Previously, as the Director of Operations for the Medical Examiner Department, Darren managed a $15 million budget and diversified departmental operations. Prior to joining Miami-Dade County, Darren held several high-level positions with the U.S. Coast Guard, including Deputy Director of Acquisition Resources, where oversight of a $9 billion portfolio and management of numerous acquisition projects occurred. Darren's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida, a Career Studies Certificate in Accounting from Northern Virginia Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
