Deldra Owens

Deldra Owens, MPA, has extensive experience in public administration and legislative affairs. Since February 2017, Deldra Owens has served as the Legislative Director for Commissioner Danielle Cohen Higgins at Miami-Dade County and previously held the role of Legislative Analyst for the Office of the Chair. In addition, Deldra Owens has been actively volunteering with the Junior League of Miami since August 2015. Prior to these roles, Deldra Owens worked at Temple Beth Sholom from July 2005 to January 2017 as both an Administrative Assistant and a Teacher. Deldra Owens holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Florida International University (2018-2019) and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (2003-2008).
