Karla Kantorovich

Teaching Artist at Miami-Dade County

Karla Kantorovich is a teaching artist with experience at Miami-Dade County since October 2021 and has been actively involved in various art exhibitions and installations since 2018. Notable projects include curating "Subverting Materials: Textile & Fiber Art by Women Artists" at the Museum of Contemporary Art of the Americas and "AMATE," an immersive installation at Piero Atchugarry Gallery. Kantorovich was also part of the "In the Company of Women At Large" exhibition at LnS Gallery and participated in the XIX Bienal de Pintura Rufino Tamayo at Museo Rufino Tamayo. Previous roles include teaching art for the STEAM + Program at The Jewish Museum of Florida - FIU and taking part in the Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator at FIU. Karla Kantorovich holds a Master’s degree in Fine/Studio Arts from Florida International University, earned in 2019.
