Ana Miranda is an accomplished independent performing arts professional with extensive experience as a dancer and choreographer specializing in experimental flamenco and contemporary dance since 2004. Currently, Ana serves as a dance/movement therapist at Salah Foundation Children's Hospital, focusing on pediatric patients and community engagement, and provides therapeutic dance sessions for elderly individuals at Miami Jewish Health. Ana's teaching and facilitation roles span multiple organizations, including Young Audiences Arts for Learning and the University of Miami/Frost School of Music, where Ana teaches various dance courses. As the founder and president of Art Works for Us, Inc., Ana led numerous initiatives for community engagement and artist development. Ana's educational background includes an MFA in Choreography, an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy, and a BA in Psychology, reflecting a strong commitment to integrating the arts with health and education.
