Mariano Filippini

Mariano Filippini serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Miami Sharks since July 2023, overseeing the launch of South Florida's newest Major League Rugby franchise and achieving significant milestones such as securing high-level sponsorships, establishing local and international broadcasting partnerships, and forming strategic alliances. Prior to this role, Mariano held several leadership positions at TelevisaUnivision, including VP of Global Content Licensing Operations & Strategy and VP of Streaming Strategy & Corporate Development, where achievements included driving substantial revenue increases and playing a pivotal role in the merger and transformation of the companies. Mariano's extensive experience in sports digital operations, corporate finance, and business development is further supported by a strong educational background, including an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
