Amy Shoemaker

Amy Shoemaker is a highly experienced legal professional who currently holds the position of Vice President & General Counsel at Miami University. Prior to this, Amy served as Deputy University Counsel and Associate Athletic Director for Administration at the University of Louisville for over a decade. Amy has a strong background in providing legal advice on various employment and student affairs issues, drafting contracts, investigating discrimination complaints, and representing universities in administrative hearings. With a JD from the University of Kentucky and a BA from William & Mary, Amy has a solid educational foundation to support their successful legal career.
