Asad Ikemba

Asad Ikemba, M.Ed, currently serves as a Program Associate for The Literacy Lab's Leading Men Fellowship, fostering college and career opportunities for men of color while enhancing educational representation. Simultaneously, Asad facilitates learning at the University of Cincinnati's GE Next Engineers Engineering Academy for a diverse cohort of students. Asad is the Chief Executive Officer of the Cincinnati Peace Movement, focusing on community improvement through service and educational initiatives. Previous roles include teaching Social Justice and African American Studies at Cincinnati Public Schools and working as an Education Coordinator and Teacher in various educational programs. Asad is pursuing a PhD in Educational Leadership at Miami University and holds a Master's in International and Comparative Education from Northcentral University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from West Virginia State University.
