Chris Makaroff

Chris Makaroff is a seasoned academic professional with extensive experience at Miami University since August 1997, currently serving as Special Assistant to the Provost for Faculty Affairs, as well as holding professorship and administrative roles including Dean and Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Science. Prior experience includes serving as Department Chair and a Member of the Board of Directors at Interact for Health, along with academic positions at Miami University from 1989 to 1997 and a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Michigan specializing in Plant Molecular Biology from March 1986 to July 1989. Chris Makaroff holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
