Dr. Amy Bergerson

Dr. Amy Bergerson currently serves as Vice Provost and Dean of Undergraduate Education at the University of California, Merced since August 2024, and as Associate Provost and Dean for Undergraduate Education at Miami University since August 2021. Previously, Dr. Bergerson held the position of Associate Dean in the Office of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Utah from September 2012 to July 2021, where responsibilities included leading several student success initiatives and managing mid-level professionals. Additional roles at the University of Utah included Director of the Office of Student Success and Empowerment, focusing on enhancing undergraduate students' college experiences. Dr. Bergerson's academic background includes a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah, a MA from Stanford University, and a BA from Amherst College. Early career positions included roles in admissions, academic advising, and student activities at various educational institutions.
