Seth Seward

Seth Seward is an experienced professional currently serving as the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations at Miami University since April 2019, focusing on alumni engagement initiatives. Additionally, Seth has owned and operated "Chess with Seth" since August 2018, promoting empowerment through chess education for youth. As Executive Director of the Columbus Chess Academy since June 2014, Seth leads efforts to enhance chess accessibility for K-12 students, particularly in underserved communities. Seth has held various positions, including Legislative Aide for the Ohio House of Representatives and Customer Service Specialist at Franklin County Jobs and Family Services, alongside internships that provided exposure to human resources and legal practices. Seth is pursuing a Master of Science in Higher Education Administration at Miami University, building on a foundational education with a Bachelor's degree in American Studies and Management and Organizations from the same institution.
