Adrian Gardner

Adrian Gardner is an Honorary Associate Professor in the College of Health and Life Sciences at Aston University, where Adrian has been since July 2021. Adrian also serves as a Clinical Trials Scholar at Birmingham Clinical Trials Unit since March 2019. Adrian is currently the Director of Research and Development and a Consultant Spine Surgeon at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. Adrian holds the position of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham. Adrian previously served as a Staff Governor at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital from September 2018 to September 2021. Adrian holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Surgery from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from the University of Southampton.
