Ruofan Chen

Ruofan Chen is currently an intern in the Highway department at Michael Baker International since June 2023, focusing on traffic signage plans and assisting in transportation studies. In addition, Ruofan has experience in customer service as a front house staff member at Chen’s Kitchen since November 2022, efficiently managing guest inquiries and cashier duties. Ruofan serves as a Design Advisor for the Rutgers School of Engineering Honors Academy and has held roles as an Analytical Physics I Learning Assistant and Library Assistant at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, providing academic support and facilitating learning. Previous experience includes conducting research as an Aresty Research Assistant, tutoring students at Kumon Math and Reading Center, and managing front desk operations at China Wok. Ruofan is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, expected to graduate in May 2025.
