Helen Lanes

Helen Lanes is a seasoned professional in interior design with extensive experience in various prominent firms. Currently serving as Principal at Michael Graves Architecture & Design since March 2022, Helen previously held leadership positions as Principal and Interior Design Director at Waldon Studio Architects and as a Healthcare Interior Design Consultant at Lanes Consulting. Helen's expertise in healthcare design was further demonstrated during their tenure as Interior Design Manager at Inova Health System and as Director Emeritus at the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers, where certification of healthcare interior designers is overseen. Additional experience includes roles as Interior Design Director at Hord Coplan Macht, Senior Interior Project Designer at Perkins+Will, and Interior Designer at both RTKL and Marriott International. Helen Lanes earned a degree in Interior Design from Virginia Tech in 1985.
