Steve Shaffer has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Steve most recently held the position of Business Development Specialist & Human Resources Director at MICHAEL KINDER & SONS, INC. Prior to that, they worked as an Executive Pastor at Pine Hills Church from 2011 to 2018, where they were responsible for global ministry development, campus development, ministry development, and budget management.
Steve also served at Northwoods Community Church in various roles, including Development Executive Pastor, Lead Executive Pastor, Church Administrator, and Sub Ministries Pastor. During their time there, they provided leadership and oversight to several sub ministries and contributed to the growth and development of the church.
Before joining Northwoods Community Church, Steve worked at Archbold Evangelical Church as an Associate Pastor, overseeing a range of ministries and coordinating the development of new initiatives.
Their early career included a role as a Youth Pastor at Fairview Missionary Church, where they were involved in the direct oversight of the Student Ministry Department and the development of sub ministries.

Steve Shaffer attended Leo Junior/Senior High School from 1973 to 1978. Steve then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Bible/Biblical Studies/Christian Education at Taylor University from 1978 to 1982.
