Sharvi joins the foundation after an internship at the Clinton Health Access Initiative where she developed a predictive model to identify HIV patients who were most likely to avoid treatment so that they could be targeted for intensive counseling. She has also interned with companies like Zunroof and Gram Oorja during the past year when she was trying to determine the next steps in her career after spending five years in the corporate sector at American Express and Essex Lake Group. Her work involved building data-driven algorithms to improve foundational processes like marketing and fraud prevention, using merchant data to identify targeted marketing strategies, and creating scalable data products that could be utilized by merchants to better understand their customers. Sharvi completed her Master’s in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics. She received her bachelor of arts in economics from St Stephens College, Delhi University.
