Ajith Wijerathna

Ajith Wijerathna is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering management across prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Project Lead for Digital Transformation at Michelin since October 2014, Ajith has a strong focus on digitalization and process automation, emphasizing engineering management, project management, and industrial safety. Prior to Michelin, Ajith held the position of Engineering Manager at MAS Holdings, where responsibilities included managing engineering projects and sustainability initiatives related to sewing machinery. Ajith's career also includes a tenure as Head of Engineering at OREL Corporation, with a focus on lean manufacturing and automation. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, an MSc in Industrial Automation from the University of Moratuwa, and a BSc in Production Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
