Gregory Pinckney

Gregory Pinckney is a Process Quality Engineer at Michelin since May 2021, continuing work on the Tension Monitoring project initiated during an internship. Responsibilities include designing and mounting a component for tire building machinery, enhancing durability and maneuverability. Previous experience at Michelin includes roles as a Progress Engineer Intern and Quality Engineer Intern, where Gregory developed methods to monitor textile tension and created a CNC calculator to improve efficiency and reduce errors in tire manufacturing. Prior to Michelin, internships at PacMar Technologies and Röchling Automotive involved modeling electromagnetic systems and proposing process improvements, respectively. Gregory Pinckney holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Carolina State University.
