Philip Hall

He is the Director of Legal Operations. He joined Michelmores in 2023.

Following several years of client management experience in advertising and consultancy, he moved into senior management in the regulated professional services sector. This included three years in a senior management role at the law firm Withers and two decades in Chief Operating Officer roles at the accountancy firm, Saffery Champness, and the intellectual property firm, J A Kemp.

He have an MBA from Warwick Business School and a Post-graduate Certificate in Legal Technology from the University of Law.

As Director of Legal Operations, he have oversight of the delivery of services to the Firm’s clients. He lead, facilitates and supports major change projects. Many of these are focused on process improvements enabled by technology and requiring the engagement of multiple stakeholders.

He work closely with the Heads of the Legal Groups and the Team Leaders on financial and people management. He maximises synergies across practice areas to the benefit of the Firm’s clients and the business as a whole.
