Richard Hedger

Richard is the Managing Partner of Michelmores' Sidmouth office, where he has been based for nearly 20 years.

Richard specialises in private client work including wills, trusts, probate, powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters.

Having lived and worked in the community for a considerable length of time, Richard has made strong connections with a variety of local businesses and individuals.

Richard is a true advocate of always putting the client first. This ethos, together with delivering a fast, efficient, cost-effective service, has ensured the continuing success of the Sidmouth office. Richard is the model of a "trusted advisor", and is renowned for his discreet and friendly manner.

Richard was formerly a student of Guildford College of Law, but having originated from the West Country, was keen to return in order to pursue his legal career in such a beautiful part of the country, which he holds close to his heart. He makes the most of the location of the Sidmouth office, and can often be found taking an early morning dip in the ocean, or diving at the weekends.
