Haley Fortuna-Gil

Staff Attorney at MICHIGAN ADVOCACY PROGRAM

Haley Fortuna-Gil is a legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at the Michigan Advocacy Program, contributing to the Tribal Survivor Project by providing legal assistance to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking with Tribal affiliations. Previously, Haley held positions as a Law Clerk at Lakeshore Legal Aid, focusing on Detroit Eviction Prevention and practicing under MCR 8.120, as well as experience in family law at Goldman and Associates. Haley’s background includes media monitoring at PLUS Communications, and various internships in research, political analysis, and court assistance. Haley holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
