Betsy Kohn

Director Of Communications at Michigan City Area Schools

Betsy Kohn has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Betsy started their career in 1988 as an Administrative Assistant at The Heritage Foundation, where they worked for two years. Following that, they joined the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) as a Manager of Publication Services from 1990 to 1997. Betsy then moved on to Guideposts, where they served as the Managing Editor of Sweet 16 Magazine for a decade. In 2007, they joined Michigan City Area Schools as the Director of Communications, a position they currently hold.

Betsy Kohn's education history consists of obtaining a BA degree in Communication Arts from Grove City College, which they completed between 1984 and 1988. Following this, they pursued further education at George Mason University, where they earned their MA degree in English from 1994 to 1999.
