Brad Guthrie

Brad Guthrie is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in technical consultancy and management roles across the automotive and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at Michigan Consulting Services, LLC, Brad specializes in problem-solving and implementing proactive improvements in metal casting, machining, and powder metallurgy. Previous roles include Design Consultant for Rivian Automotive and American Battery Solutions, and a significant tenure at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles as Technical Fellow where Brad led innovative transmission casting designs. Additional positions at Ford Motor Company involved global technical management and supplier quality assurance, significantly contributing to performance improvements in casting technologies. Brad holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, respectively.
