Michigan Immigrant Rights Center
Polina Hristova serves as a Supervising Attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center, a position held since August 2020, after beginning as a Staff Attorney. Prior experience includes mentoring and tutoring in the 1L Academic Success Program at Michigan State University College of Law from August 2019 to January 2020, and interning at the State Appellate Defender Office in the Juvenile-Lifer Unit during the summer of 2019. Polina also contributed as a Research Assistant and Student Clinician at the Michigan State University Immigration Law Clinic from August 2018 to May 2019 and completed a judicial internship for the Honorable Arthur Tarnow at the District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in mid-2018. Educational background consists of a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan (2012-2016).
