Sarah M. Parlette possesses extensive experience in assessment development and educational support within language testing and teaching environments. Currently serving as an Assessment Developer and Specialist at Michigan Language Assessment since September 2017, Sarah manages the quality review processes for digital forms, conducts malpractice reviews, and creates training materials while overseeing temporary workers. Previous roles include web-news associate producer for WDIV Local 4 News, IELTS invigilator at ELS Educational Services, and TESOL graduate assistant at Grand Valley State University, where Sarah supported English language learners. Academic achievements include a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, French, and Journalism/Publications from Aquinas College, complemented by TESOL certification.
